here's a little tribute i made to my dearest kavi(':
i will never forget the times we had
ALL THE WAY BACK TO PCK MUSICAL.
the VERY first time i met u, 1st january 2005.
u were small, in ur concord tshirt. no fringe,
black shoes. then we both were in ELDDS.
they threw us to PCK musical.
u hated me. i DIDNT know u hated me.
cos i was WAYYYYYY GONNNNNNNG back then.
then we sat a one dollar cab. 50 cents each.
the cabby took us to national stadium, when
we were supposed to go to indoor stadium.
and we mocked; [white boots]

then slowly, we changed. i watched u change.
no more buns; no more black shoes.
chinabrand clothes turned into FOX tops.
the humiliation i caused u; the 'DIY trouble'
u caused me, we're always even(:
u stole my PE shirt; my green baleno shirt;
my JOG shoes; my everything(: and then we
joined cheer. kindness week, cheer camp,
when we talked at the corridor at 3am.

and we joined knowledge park; gym every
saturday; parties.we 'algebra-ed' together;
and u mocked me for wearing the
same black skirt all the time. and i mocked
u for wearing the same fireworks singlet all
the time(:

then came vino problem. we searched up
and down called here and there to find her.
and in the end we did.(: of course we did.

and then sleepover at shaal's.my mum went:
'kavita's house?' i will be:'uhmmmMMM nope..'
every call will be kavita,kavita,kavita.((:

and chocolixr came about when IPW came.
hitler, u tripping me,my hand stuck in the
box, pulling hitler's hair, hitler looking like
a basketballer(jinkai).

swimming; we sneaked into the toilet(:
botanic gardens; walk for children.

then one by one chocolixr became att.
raj,sya,taa,me.. and mine was the
toughest of the toughest. but u overcame
those hurdles with me. we hogged on the
phone at 12am, thinking abt a way to change
him. we had the Js to help too..but it was of no
help. then it ended.

but it was because of that relationship
which made us know djcube, one of the
bestest ppl on earth. come to think of it,
there IS a reason to everything.

my lesbo patner-
the times u sarcasticated my gongness.
the times u laughed like SHIT over the
little things that i do; [eg. adjusting phone
volume] the times we would hide in jurong
library's top floor, doing nothing(:

i will never forget ur "shit man"s n ur
trademarked agressiveness. and how we
DREAMT of being at the beach together....
and WE WENT(: topping up of that, we went
halloween party; vivo city;jared's emofied gig;
SINGAPORE RIVER.

the gazillion of times u lie on my laps,
looking at me; listening to chasing cars;
the only song on my phone. the times u'd
hit me and scold me for my gongness,
and i'll smile back and say im sorry.
the time's i'd fool u with my innocence,
and u'd fall for it, the times i'd steal bites
on ur old chang kee currypuff, the times
i'd ask u a gazillion times whether to buy a top.
the times we'd bet a hundred bucks over some
small thing, and in the end, no one will pay up(:
the times we'd lesbo talk and cheek greeting-

look how much u've changed my dear,
all these memories shall be kept in my
heart FOREVER. in the past i NEVER EVER
believed the words "friends forever"
or maybe "lesbians forever".
but now they make so much sense.
i finally understand.
